“Very few people I felt like were taking me seriously. And Brain Harmony restored that.”

Sensory Processing Disorder
Ellen’s son Conor was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder and slight ADHD. He would have multiple breakdowns, hide, and was perpetually scared. Despite hearing discouraging remarks from Conor’s initial behavioral specialists, Ellen refused to lose hope that Conor’s condition would improve. 2 days after completing his first five day protocol with Brain Harmony, Conor made eye contact and socially engaged in a way his family had never witnessed before.
“By the time he started second grade, he was a different kid. He walks through the halls differently, he holds his head differently. He was comfortable in his skin, he was a happier child… It works… When you have this therapy in your home and you’re using it and encouraging your child to use it.. it’s going to change your life. And I know that is a bold statement.. but it’s going to change your life. It really is.”
Levi did not display typical symptoms of Autism as a child, and his symptoms were not evident until he was almost thirteen. He was angry, argumentative, impatient, and struggled with learning and interactions. His diagnosis came as somewhat of a relief to his family, who felt they were finally able to understand the root of his struggles. They set out to provide Levi with the support required for him to thrive through therapy.
“It’s been amazing to have the experience of Brain Harmony - not only because I see it doing things for him and with him, but also because it’s making him more confident. I can’t say enough wonderful things about how it has helped our son, but also our family just to see him starting to thrive.”
Auditory Processing Disorder
Skye-Nohea was always an open, bubbly child. But one morning, her mother noticed her daughter struggle to follow instructions at a swim lesson, and she knew something was unusual. She suspected that her hearing was impaired, but after passing the hearing test, her mother started to entertain other possibilities. Skye-Nohea saw a number of doctors and completed a range of tests to attain her Auditory Processing Disorder diagnosis. After trying different therapy methods and specialty programs, they were referred to Brain Harmony by a former patient’s mother.
“I feel like her memory is getting better, her attention is getting better, she accepts things a little bit faster... I feel like so many people who have kids - or even adults - who have APD, they don’t know that something like a program like this exists where you can basically work on the problem directly. That’s why I feel like so many people need to hear about this.“
Isaac struggled to learn how to read right off the bat. Melissa took him for multiple screenings, where her suspicions were confirmed - Isaac was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. While Melissa altered her teaching approach, she still felt as though Isaac needed more support to progress and advance at the level she envisioned for him to reach his potential.
“In my mind, for him to be able to really fully understand what he’s reading out loud is huge… I’m very happy with how it’s going - very happy.”
